Action Packed “After Hour Kid Power” Summer Camps

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department invites you to set your children up for a fun-filled summer with their 2024 After Hour Kid Power Summer Camps.

These six-week licensed programs are open to all children, ages 5 to 13, regardless of enrollment status in local school districts. Children will have opportunities to engage in games, arts and crafts, guest speakers, field trips, and various activities. The camp is designed to help children develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests.

The camps will operate from June 10 to July 19, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (closed for City holidays on June 19 and July 4). A morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack will be provided.                         

Corpus Christi ISD:

  • The fee is $99/child/week or drop in for $30/child/day. Drop-ins are not permitted on field trip days.
  • Scholarships of $70/child/week are available for qualifying applicants.

Calallen ISD:

  • The fee is $89/child/week or drop in for $25/child/day. Drop-ins are not permitted on field trip days.
  • Scholarships of $60/child/week are available for qualifying applicants.
  • Location:
    • Calallen West Intermediate    4030 County Road 69 (78410)

Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, April 22, the program will accept children on its INTEREST LIST at https://cclatchkey.egdata.com/parent_login.cfm. Spacing is limited. Registered participants will receive a time-sensitive email with directions to complete registration within two business days of adding their required contact information to the interest list.

Acceptance is granted on a first-come, first-served basis until each camp location is full. Please note that adding your name to the interest list does not guarantee registration.
