CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—The O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant, located at 13101 Leopard Street, will host a hazmat drill on Tuesday, April 29. First responders will participate in the simulated incident, which will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Media personnel should arrive by 8:30 a.m. before the drill. After that time, plant access will be restricted to only emergency personnel participating in the drill.

During the drill, Northwest Corpus Christi residents will notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles. The training is not expected to impact traffic, and no community response is necessary.
