City to Hold Community Input Open Houses for HUD Grant Awards
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is seeking community input on how to use funding from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the City to allow public participation in the planning process for these programs. A public input session will be held in each of the five Council Districts.
The schedule for the five public meetings is as follows:
- District 1: February 27 - La Retama Central Library- 805 Comanche Street
- District 2: March 3 - Ben F. McDonald Public Library- 4044 Greenwood Drive
- District 3: March 4 - Corpus Christi Water Utilities, Choke Canyon Room 2726 Holly Road
- District 4: March 5 - Janet F. Harte Public Library- 2629 Waldron Road
- District 5: March 6 - Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia Public Library- 5930 Brockhampton Street
All sessions will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
