City To Host Community Input Session for Proposed Greenwood-Westside Sports Complex Improvements
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, in collaboration with Gignac Architects, is seeking community input on the proposed design improvements to the Greenwood-Westside Sports Complex. The proposed improvements would include installing artificial turf fields, new dugouts, shade structures, scoreboards, and upgrades to the restrooms and concession stands.
In November 2022, Corpus Christi residents approved the 2022 Bond Package, which included $4.7 million to improve the Greenwood-Westside Sports Complex, including the Westside Pony, Universal Little League, and Sparkling City sports fields.
The community input session is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Greenwood-Westside Sports Complex, located at 4035 Greenwood Drive.
