Everhart Road Project Sees Continued Progress

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—As some sections are completed, progress on the Everhart Road Project will involve significant traffic control changes starting Monday, February 17.

The southbound lanes of Everhart Road from South Staples Street to Lamont Street will reopen, and construction will shift to the northbound lanes. Two-way, single-lane traffic will be directed to the southbound lanes. Westbound access to McArdle Road will remain closed at Everhart Road. Traffic access to and from McArdle Road will continue to be detoured.

Left turns onto Everhart Road from South Staples Street in both directions are now allowed. Left turns onto South Staples Street, Burney Drive, and McArdle Road from Everhart Road will continue to be prohibited.

A detailed map is attached to represent the road work and traffic flow adjustments visually.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
