Freezing Conditions Expected Through Thursday Night

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for all of South Texas except the barrier islands for Monday night into Tuesday. From tonight through Wednesday morning, the wind chill (feels like temperature) will not rise above 32 degrees in Corpus Christi.

In some areas, a mix of wintry precipitation will be possible. Accumulations may cause slick roads and other hazardous impacts.

City Operations

There will be a weather-related delayed start for the City of Corpus Christi on Tuesday, January 21. Employees in non-essential operations will report to work at 12:00 p.m. Garbage and recycling curbside collections will take place as usual.
