Morgan Avenue Overnight Maintenance Starting Wednesday

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Beginning the evening of Wednesday, October 23, repaving work will commence on Morgan Avenue from Crosstown Expressway to South Port Avenue as part of the Street Preventative Maintenance Program (SPMP).

Construction will be active from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each day and is expected to last two weeks, weather permitting.

During the first phase of the construction, nighttime lane closures will begin on the outside lanes of both sides of Morgan Avenue. During the second phase, they will shift to the street’s inside lanes.

Safety is a top priority, so motorists are advised to remain aware of the work zone and follow posted signs.
