Phase 1 of Alameda Street Project Set to Begin

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Phase 1 of the Alameda Street Project will begin on Monday, January 15. The street reconstruction will result in a closure of the southbound lanes on South Alameda Street from Southern Street to Chamberlain Street.  

Traffic will be redirected to two-way single-lane traffic within the northbound lanes during this phase of the project. Safety remains a top priority, and motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
