Street Maintenance Improvements Planned for Cimarron Boulevard

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A contractor for the City of Corpus Christi will perform street maintenance on Cimarron Boulevard from Airline Road to Legacy Point beginning on May 28. These improvements are part of the City’s Rapid Pavement Program 2024 work plan.

This work will consist of the following two phases:

  • Phase 1: Yorktown Boulevard and Legacy Point (Four-week duration)
  • Phase 2: Airline Road to Yorktown Boulevard (Six-week duration)

Phase 1 will begin on Tuesday, May 28. Motorists should anticipate intermittent daily lane closures within the work zone from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Phase 2 will begin immediately following the completion of Phase 1.

Safety remains a top priority, so motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.
