Updated Closures on Nueces Bay Boulevard

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Nueces Bay Boulevard between Up River Road and Leopard Street will close beginning Monday, March 31, as roadwork continues in the area.

This closure is expected to last until Friday, April 25.

Additionally, Nueces Bay Boulevard from John Street to West Broadway Street remains closed to traffic.

Roadway closures are also in effect for the northbound lanes of Nueces Bay Boulevard from Leopard Street to West Broadway Street. Traffic is redirected to the southbound lanes, allowing two-way, single-lane traffic.

The project’s expected completion date is July.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.
