Animal Care Services
Report an Injured or Sick Animal
Injured animals are a high priority response for Animal Control Officers. A sick or injured stray animal should be reported to the shelter at (361) 826-4630 or the Customer Call Center at 3-1-1. Report after-hour emergencies to the Corpus Christi Police Department at (361) 886-2600.
An injured animal with a collar, license tag, or registered microchip can usually be traced to its owner by Animal Care Services and quickly reunited.
Stray animals without identification that are injured or sick are evaluated and provided veterinary care.
