The Dynamic Portal is the City of Corpus Christi's online permit application portal. Through this portal, you may apply for a permit, view existing permit information, upload, and download documents, pay fees, view review comments, schedule and see inspections results, print permit card and all other City issued documents. First time users will need to apply for an online account.

Accessory Construction and Remodeling

Interior Remodeling and Foundation Repairs, Room Additions/Enclosures, Garages, Carports, Storage Buildings, Porches, Gazebos, Patio Covers, Decks and Docks, Swimming pools and Spas

A complete submission includes:

  • Residential Building Permit Application (Form 1003)
     
  • Elevation Certificate if within a flood plain. (If you are unsure, please contact our office for the most recent FEMA information regarding your property)
     
  • Declared Occupancy Use and Type of Construction
     
  • Site Plan
     
  • Floor Plan, existing and proposed
     
  • Foundation Plan
     
  • Completed Texas Department of Insurance WPI-1 Form from Windstorm Engineer/Inspector that will be inspecting and/or responsible for inspecting the structure for windstorm compliance https://www.tdi.texas.gov/forms/form13windstorm.html
     
  • Sealed windstorm plan for the entire new construction

  • Beachfront Construction Projects may be required to obtain a Beachfront Construction Certificate (Form 6001) or a Dune Protection Permit for Kleberg County (Form 6002)

Roofing and Siding Permits

A complete submission includes:

Residential Building Permit Application (Form 1003)

  • A detailed scope of work which identifies roofing/siding method and materials
     
  • Completed Texas Department of Insurance WPI-1 Form from Windstorm Engineer/Inspector that will be inspecting and/or responsible for inspecting the structure for windstorm compliance https://www.tdi.texas.gov/forms/form13windstorm.html

Interior Remodeling and Foundation Repairs

A complete submission includes:

  • Residential Building Permit Application (Form 1003)

  • Scope of work to be performed
     
  • Foundation Repair requires an engineered sealed foundation plan for repairs

  • Windstorm related repairs require an engineer

Driveway and Sidewalk Permits

A complete submission includes:

  • Residential Building Permit Application (Form 1003)
     
  • Site Plan (existing & proposed)
     
  • Only if work is located within the R.O.W.

The department brings together building services, civil engineering, planning and zoning, permit applications, major projects and records in a way that customers can access information, start new projects, and get projects approved.
