STI/HIV Prevention & Surveillance

The STI/HIV Clinic is available to residents of Nueces County and surrounding areas for confidential STI/HIV care. Clinic staff offer testing, diagnosis, treatment and education services. Most STIs are asymptomatic and are realized once a person is tested. Some STIs spread from person to person, and some may have immediate and lifelong complications.  

STI/HIV Clinic Hours of Operation

Testing and treatment services offered between 8 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. Monday – Friday, closed 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. for lunch

Services offered

  • Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia and HIV testing 
  • Pregnancy testing 
  • Treatment for Syphilis, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia 
  • Referrals to the Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and HIV Treatment 
  • Risk reduction, including free condoms and lubricants 

Fee Schedule

  • STI/HIV testing is free of charge 
  • Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia treatment is free of charge 
  • Condoms and lubricants free of charge

The clinic is located at 1702 Horne Road Corpus Christi, Texas 78416 and is at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Horne Road. 

No, the clinic does not require an appointment and accepts walk-ins or appointments. 

Testing and treatment services are offered between 8 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 4:15 p.m., Monday – Friday. The clinic closes for lunch 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. daily. 

The STI/HIV Clinic offers free testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV and pregnancy. The clinic does not test for Hepatitis C or Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) but can refer clients to appropriate care. 

Yes, treatment is available for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis. 

Currently, STI/HIV testing is free of charge.  The treatment is also free of charge.

The clinic does not file through insurance and services are currently free of charge. 

Yes, the confidentiality of patients is of utmost importance and maintained throughout the encounter.
