The City of Corpus Christi Human Resources department provides service to all city departments/offices, employees, and external stakeholders consists of seven specialized divisions

The primary functions and responsibilities of the HR department are to serve as a strategic partner in both an administrative and operational level, offering services such as recruitment, employee/retiree benefits, compensation management, unemployment, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, and employment law compliance.

Serve in both an administrative and operational role by partnering with all city departments to ensure alignment with the City’s overall mission and strategic objectives while also providing support to all City of Corpus Christi employees.
