Hispanic Genealogy Collection and Resources

The Hispanic Genealogy Collection consists of printed materials, census and county records, and vital records on Hispanic families in Texas and northern Mexico. Our Hispanic Genealogy Reference Collection is searchable through the Corpus Christi Public Libraries online catalog.

This collection is not for loan, meaning the items cannot be borrowed or checked out. However, the collection is open for research in the Local History Department located on the second floor of La Retama Central Library.

Church and civil records of Northern Mexico - Reels vary in dates 1500-early 1900s: Coahuila, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo Leon and Tamaulipas.
