Heritage Park
Heritage Park is Corpus Christi's historic park, which hosts and supports many art and cultural activities and a variety of community events throughout the year. Come and step back in time at this historic cultural center, where several Victorian-style homes now stand. The park is overseen by the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department.
Eleven Historic Homes
There are eleven historical Corpus Christi homes located in Heritage Park, located at 1581 N. Chaparral Street. Many of these are recorded Texas Historical Landmarks, the oldest dating back to 1851. Each house pays tribute to the area’s ethnic and cultural diversity.
Self-Guided Walking Tour
Take a stroll at Heritage Park and view each of the houses to learn about their background. Only outdoor self-guided tours are available.

*The Centennial House is not in Heritage Park. It is located at 411 N. Upper Broadway Street (map link). This historic house is available for public tours. For more information, please call (361) 882-8691.
Rental Information
This scenic park is a favorite spot for weddings and other special occasions, as well as community events. Facilities that are available for meetings and private rentals include the Galván House, the Courtyard, and the Lytton Memorial Rose Garden.
