78415 Community Youth Development Program
The 78415 CYD Program is a free program for youth and family members who live or attend school in the 78415 ZIP Code.
The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services funds this program. It was created in 1995 by the 74th Legislature to assist with crime prevention. Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation serves as the Fiscal Agent for the grant in the 78415 ZIP code. This provides communities with prevention programs for youth ages 6 to 17 with an emphasis on ages 10 to 17.
The 78415 CYD Program offers academic support, athletic recreation, and mentoring. Activities are designed to emphasize valuable leadership skills.
The services of this program are free and participation is voluntary and not based on age or income.
Service Providers support, teach, and empower youth and families in the 78415 community. They provide life-changing services to the youth to make them productive, successful citizens. to have a safe and productive community in the future, we meet the needs of our youth and families today.
