We have programs for youth, teens, tots, adults, and seniors in every neighborhood of the city. These programs support a healthy lifestyle, enhance quality of life, and promote our growing community.

78415 Community Youth Development Program

The 78415 CYD Program is a free program for youth, and/or family members of eligible youth, who live or attend school in the 78415 Zip Code. The program offers academic support, athletic recreation, and mentoring, while emphasizing valuable leadership skills.

After Hour Kid Power

After Hour Kid Power (formerly named Latchkey) offers an after school program, school break day camps, and summer camps for youth ages 5 to 13. It is licensed by Texas Health and Human Services. It is the answer for working and busy parents concerned about leaving their children in unsupervised environments.

Nutrition Services

The Corpus Christi Meals On Wheels program provides home-delivered meals to homebound elderly individuals. At the core of the Meals On Wheels service is a nutritious meal, companionship and a watchful eye on the health and safety of our seniors.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program works to engage Americans 55 years and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs and works to provide a high-quality experience for the volunteers. RSVP staff matches volunteers’ interests and schedules with several opportunities from non-profit agencies called Volunteer Stations.

Senior Companion Program

The Corpus Christi Senior Companion Program (SCP) assists seniors and adults in retaining their independence. Companions must be age 55+, retired, and meet established income eligibility guidelines. Senior Companions serve between 15 and 40 hours a week.

Recreation Center Programs

Four recreation centers throughout the city offer a variety of programs for youth ages 6 to 16 including after school recreation, school break camps, summer camps and a free snack program, as well as community events for everyone to enjoy.

Sports

Sports offerings change throughout the year. We may offer Baseball, Basketball, Cheer, Karate, Volleyball, Kickball, Softball, Soccer, Football, Floorball, Pickleball and Martial Arts. Offerings can be found for High School, Jr. Varsity, Middle School, youth, and adults.
