Daniel McGinn is a seasoned professional in municipal planning and development. Having started with the City of Corpus Christi in 2005, he has held positions as City Planner, Project Manager, Land Development Manager, Interim Director of Development Services, and Assistant Director of the Planning Department.
Aside from his career with the City of Corpus Christi, Mr. McGinn has worked in Community and Economic Development for the City of Hudson, Ohio, Deputy Director of Development Services in Victoria, and the City of Sachse’s Director of Community Development.
Mr. McGinn is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Planning Association (APA), American Institute of Certified Planners, Texas APA, and the Texas Floodplain Management Association. His education includes a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Akron, a Bachelor’s of Arts in Geography from Rowan University, and other educational accomplishments including a Leadership Development Certification through the University of Virginia, and the City’s Career Development Program.
