Storm Water drainage lines are located throughout the entire city.
Rainwater flows off urban streets, parking lots, construction sites, and neighborhoods, where it is then channeled into the City's Storm Water drainage system of pipes and ditches. Its final destination is our creeks, bays, estuaries, and oceans.
The Public Works Department provides Storm Water management services to improve Storm Water quality, protect the community from flooding, and maintain Storm Water infrastructure.

About Us
The Mission of the Public Works Department is to manage, maintain, and develop the City's street and storm water systems. This is accomplished by maintaining street pavement; operating and maintaining traffic signals, signs and markings, planning and developing the street system; and providing storm water management services.
