Michael Dice has been appointed as the Director or the Development Services Department effective Monday, December 9, 2024. Michael has over 35 years of management and construction experience with 18 years of those in municipal government. He joined the City of Corpus Christi in 2019 as Assistant Director for the Development Services Department. ln this position, he co­ led the department with then Al Raymond leading the department in all aspects including managing the operating budgets and personnel. Prior lo joining the City of Corpus Christi, Michael worked for the City of San Antonio where his experience included working in several departments. such as Development Services, Parks and Recreation, and the City Manager's Office. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Business Administration from California Coast University. He also serves as a member of the International Code Council, where he holds several certifications.
