Construction Contract Awarded for Park Plaza Shade Structures at Cole Park Pier

At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council awarded a $689,934 contract to Gourley Contractors, LLC, of Corpus Christi for the installation of shade structures for Cole Park Pier’s Park Plaza.

New Marina Piers Coming to Lawrence Street T-Head

The first construction phase is underway to replace marina piers on the Lawrence Street T-Heads. Callan Marine Ltd., of Galveston, is the construction contractor for the $19.4 million project, which is funded through the Marina Capital and Seawall Capital Improvement Funds.
