  • City Approves Request to Transfer Ownership of SH 9

     At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved a resolution requesting the transfer of ownership from State Highway 9 (Leopard Street from IH 37 Frontage to Water Street) from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to the City of Corpus Christi.

  • City Council Approves Vital Ship Channel Infrastructure Upgrade

     At today’s regularly scheduled Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved a motion awarding a construction contract to Clark Pipeline Services, LLC. for the Ship Channel Waterline and Gas Line Crossing Rebid project as part of the Port of Corpus Christi Ship Channel widening and deepening.

    During today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved a resolution to authorize a License Agreement with the City of CC SSN-705 Submarine Memorial, Inc. for the placement and maintenance of the "USS City of Corpus Christi” Submarine Sail at Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park (SVMP), located at 222 S. Shoreline Drive.

  • City Provides Funds for Admiral’s Quarters at Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi

    At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved an agreement with South Texas Military Housing, LP (STMH) in a total amount not to exceed $1 million for the construction of a Chief of Naval Air Training Flag Officers (CNATRA) quarters at Naval Air Station – Corpus Christi.
