    The City of Corpus Christi will host a dedication ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Park Road 22 Bridge.

    On Monday, December 9, the Yorktown Boulevard construction project will begin implementing  Traffic Control Plans for Phases 1A and 1C. This will require significant traffic changes, all of which will be in place by Friday, December 20.

  • City Council Awards Construction Contract for Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park Monument
    At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council awarded Marshall Company Ltd. a $715,000 construction contract for the transportation and installation of a United States Army Bell Huey Helicopter at Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park, located at 222 South Shoreline Boulevard.
  • New Marina Piers Coming to Lawrence Street T-Head
    The first construction phase is underway to replace marina piers on the Lawrence Street T-Heads. Callan Marine Ltd., of Galveston, is the construction contractor for the $19.4 million project, which is funded through the Marina Capital and Seawall Capital Improvement Funds.

  • Police Training Academy Ribbon Cutting

    The City of Corpus Christi will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the Corpus Christi Police Training Academy. The new 34,000-square foot facility replaces the current training academy, which was built in 1981.

  • Everhart Road Project Transitions to Phase 2A

    Beginning Tuesday, November 19, Phase 2A of the Everhart Road Project will extend the current Traffic Control Plan (TCP) from Jacquelyn Drive to South Staples Street.

  • Greenwood Drive Maintenance Work Continues North of SPID

    Beginning Monday, November 18, repaving work will begin on Greenwood Drive from South Padre Island Drive to Port Avenue as part of the Street Preventative Maintenance Program (SPMP).
